Discusses the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City as a defining and unifying event for Americans similar to the bombing of Pearl Harbor or the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Explains that patriotic feelings faded as time passed after September 11th. Discusses opinions about the war against terrorism. Includes interviews asking informants about their reaction to hearing about the terrorist attacks on September 11th. Created by Noël Alton while she was enrolled in Jill Terry Rudy's English 392 class during Winter Semester 2004.
