Includes several stories involving accounts of things that go wrong in stage productions. Describes actors, whether professional or amateur, as an occupational folk group who also share characteristics such as acceptable behavior. Discusses storytelling among actors in terms of performance in addition content. Categorizes the collected stories as either "funny bloopers" or "harmful mishaps," which the author explains are also told in a humorous light. Created by M. Claire Kenny while she was enrolled in Jill Terry Rudy's English 392 class during Fall Semester 2002.
