Material contains articles and biography relating to John Glenn Meeks Jr.'s service on the U.S.S. Princeton during the Korean War. Contains a memoir of an experience of securing planes to the deck during a typhoon and he was injured. Includes several newspapers from the ship and the air station, including "The Carrier, Friday, Jan. 6,1950, Vol X, No. 2" (original) where he is in the front page picture and "Slipstream, Week of August 3, 1952, Vol.2 No. 6" (photocopied). Also an article from an unknown newspaper titled "Servicemen Aboard USS Princeton Find Spirit of Gospel in Meetings". File contains Meeks's professional biography. Dated 1950-1952, approximately 2001.
