Life with the Barkers / Jessica Barker, 2000
Scope and Contents note
After discovering that her brother was suffering from a terminal form of cancer Jessica Barker and her family began to collect cherished family memories and stories so that the family dynamics and history could be preserved even once members of the family passed away. Contributors shared humorous family stories from their childhood lives including vacations and kitchen mishaps. The parents also contributed stories that they recall from their children's rivalries and adventures. Barker wrote the project while in Jill Rudy's English 392 course taught at Brigham Young University during the Winter semester of 2000.
