Letter from Sam Bissinger to Heilner family. Sam Bissinger, Newton Bissinger's brother, writes of the beginnings of World War I and the terrible worries it brings. "Mama" in this letter is Clara Heilner although Sam is not related to her. Dated August 12, 1914. Includes a transcription of the letter.
