Materials contain a personal history in a spiral bound book of Glenn H. Parkin regarding his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Book includes copies of newspaper and magazine articles, maps, Navy documents, certificates, photographs, excerpts from a Navy history, historical information about the U.S.S. Hoel, and comic book pages. File also contains an article (1997) about Parkin's experiences with the family of one of his buddies who was killed during the war. Dated before 2001.
