Scope and Contents

Letter from Brother to Clara Heilner and children. This unsigned man writes Clara as her "brother." He also writes that upon his return to Portland he "found Fanny and family all well." Jesse, Clara and Sanford are in San Francisco at this time seeing doctors for Sanford's turned in feet and Jesse's crossed eye. He calls Clara his "dear sister." Unfortunately the letter is unsigned. Dated July 8, 1885. Includes a transcription of the letter.
