File contains materials relating to the service of Emil M. Petterborg in the U.S. Navy during World War II with Fleet Air Wing 4. Materials contain a short letter detailing some of Petterborg's aerial attacks on Japanese targets while stationed in the Aleutian Islands. Also describes his crew's crash landing in Russia and his internment there until the Russians smuggled him out of the country. Dated 2000.
