File contains materials related to the service of Frederick Victor Jachman in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Materials contain a handwritten survey that briefly discusses his naval service, his base at Base 17, Samar, Philippines and PT boats, and experiences as a Latter-day Saint serviceman. Includes five pages of photocopied photographs showing Jackman, his family members that served in World War II, and PT boats. Also contains a transcript of an interview conducted with Jackman in which he discusses some of his war time experiences. Dated approximately 1944-1946 and 2000-2002.
