Scope and Contents
Materials contain papers of Lloyd L. Miller regarding his service in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II from 1942 to 1945. Contains photographs of Miller and his Latter-day Saint group in Saipan, and of games, baptisms, 24th of July services, and a chapel dedication. Contains an excerpt from Miller's life history that describes his military service. He describes being in the battle of Peleliu Island, serving in Saipan, and participating in his Latter-day Saint group, which included L. Tom Perry. Includes copied photographs, chapel dedication program, and military documents. Includes part of an interview of Miller conducted in 2000 and Miller's answers to a questionnaire. Dated 1942-2000.
