Scope and Contents
Materials contain papers relating to Dean H. Hansen and his service in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Includes a letter written home that talks about a church meeting and how it strengthened his testimony and how homesick he was (1942). Contains a telegram from Western Union informing his family that he was wounded in action (1944) and an article written for the ward newspaper in which he expresses the faith it took to preserve his life while in the Solomon Islands and Guam (1988). Finally shares his testimony and gratitude. Also includes two copied photographs. Dated 1942-1988.
