Materials contain "I Had a Little Talk with the Lord: the Story of Ray Church, World War II Marine L.D.S. P.O.W.," based on a story by Cheryl Black Roper. Also contains "Follow the Gleam: The experiences of Ray H. Church, An American Marine Prisoner in World War II," by Cheryl Black Roper and Don Norton as told by Church (2001). The accounts describe the experiences of Ray Church while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II from 1940-1946, particularly being stationed in Guam and being when he was taken prisoner by the Japanese.
