Scope and Contents note
Materials contain papers relating to the military service of Paul Ahlstrom in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Included in the file are a floppy disk, Ahlstrom's obituary, photocopied photographs, various accounts of experiences Ahlstrom had, letters written to David O. McKay requesting endorsement to an appointment to chaplain, excerpts from Ahlstrom's World War II journal, and two copies of an oral history. Describes being stationed in Russia. He talks of his impressions of the Russians and some of the conversations he held. Dated 1943-1945, 1993-1999.
