Scope and Contents

Materials contain four audiocassette recordings and transcription of an interview with Hyrum Thomas Dudley, conducted by Don Norton, regarding his service in the U.S. Navy during World War II with the 135th Battalion. He discusses achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer and Chief Machinist’s Mate, as well as being a part of the SeaBees (CB) and the United Stated Navy Reserve (USNR). Also contains a narrative crafted from the interview. The set of audiocassettes appear to be missing tape 1. Dated February 20, 2002.
