Five people are standing in front of a large building called the "Clements Hotel" that has a windmill on top and is surrounded by other buildings and trees. There is a large pole on the left in the foreground. The hotel is located in Clements, San Joaquin County, California, on the road to Stockton, California from Mokelumne Hill.
