Materials contain papers of Jack Oliver Hanson regarding his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps 86th and 577th Army Air Force Band as a musician during World War II and gives his personal account of his military career. Includes photocopied photographs of the band. Discusses his experiences in Portland, Oregon and Alaska. He also discusses his mission immediately following the war. Dated 1943-1944, approximately 1997.
