Materials contain papers of Robert Victor Lawrence regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Contains a memoir written by Lawrence that describes crossing the Pacific, stopping in New Guinea, and combat in the Philippines. Contains copied photographs of Lawrence in 1944 and of a Bible he carried in his pocket that was hit by a shell fragment. Contains a photocopied newspaper article about Lawrence's military service. Dated before 2002.
