Describes the living conditions, weather, combat conditions, and interaction with other servicemen and the natives of Saipan, Okinawa, Guam, and the Philippines. Includes accounts of patrols that Brown participated in wherein he exchanged small arms fire with the Japanese. Dated approximately 1991.
