Scope and Contents
Materials contain papers of Teddy B. Parker regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1941 to 1946. Includes a history of Richfield, Utah’s military involvement and organization as well as the history of the 40th, or Sunshine Division. Discusses the role of Kunming in the war effort against the Japanese. Also includes sixteen pages of photocopied photographs (1938-1941), a page from the Salt Lake Tribune (1941), a letter to his mother (1945), and his record of honorable discharge (1946). Dated 1938 to 2000.
