Scope and Contents
Materials contain a transcribed interview of Earl G. Sorensen about his military experiences in the U.S. National Guard during World War II in the 145th Field Artillery. Discusses fighting on Kwajalein, Saipan, and Tinian. Mentions battles in the Philippines as well as in Okinawa. Includes three cassette tapes of the interview. Includes photocopied photographs of Sorensen and his wife during the war and more recently. Interview conducted by Don Norton and Leah Johnson. Dated approximately 1941, 2003.
