Scope and Contents note
Materials contain the account of Gordon W. M. Innis regarding his service in the 55/53rd Australian Infantry Battalion during World War II from 1942-1946. Recounts his time in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Within the account are included copied military photographs of Innis (1943), copied war photographs (1942-1943), a map, a copied newspaper article (1995), a copied military certificate (1946), a photograph of Innis in 1999, and a photograph of his war medals. Dated approximately 2001.
