Materials contain accounts of Russell Jensen's war experience serving in the U.S. Army during World War II as an ammunition carrier for a machine gun squad. He discusses combat conditions and his wounds during the Battle of Catmon Hill on Leyte Island in the Philippines and the Battle of Conical Hill on Okinawa. Includes photographs of military documents, Okinawa, and a ship. Dated 1944-1946, before 2006.
