Materials include an interview transcript, optical disk, and photographs of James Pat Madden regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. He discusses serving with the 1635th Engineer Construction Battalion which was stationed in the Pacific. He shared his experience with a typhoon and how they took care of the muddy streets with crushed coral. Dated December 10, 2006.
