Scope and Contents

Materials contain a brief summary of Floyd Bradfield's military experiences in the Pacific during World War II. Includes a summary of his role in the Army's mobilization immediately after receiving news of Pearl Harbor's bombing. Contains a description of the landing at Lingayen Gulf involving over 800 naval ships, and the eventual conquering of the islands of Luzon and Negros. Photographs show Bradfield both in military dress and with his field artillery unit. Dated approximately 1941-1945, approximately 2000.
