Scope and Contents
Materials contain poetry written by Harvey Allen Terry during and after World War II that discusses the tragedy and destruction of war. Also contains a collection of artwork done by William de Jarnette Rutherfoord depicting combat on Luzon, Philippines with the twenty-fifth Division. Also includes two photocopied letters: the first is from Terry's regimental commander, the second discusses Terry's role in the American Legion after the war. Contains two photocopied photographs of Terry and his parents; and a letter written by his wife, Maxine N. Terry. Dated 1944-1949 and December 6, 2000.
