Materials contain an account written by Lewis Call about his military service. Account was found in a 1979 journal of Call and typed by his wife, Jean, in 1995. Describes Call's service in the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II. Call discusses sailing to New Guinea, combat in the Philippines, being wounded, going to Japan as part of the occupational forces, and attending a Latter-day Saint conference in Japan. Dated 1979.
