Scope and Contents

Materials contain papers of Ray J. Crook regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Contains an edition of the Sixth Army News about the Villa Verde trail (1945), a memoir written by Crook that describes his experiences in the Philippines and Japan, a photocopy of the Salt Lake Tribune in 1945 announcing Japan's surrender, copied photographs of the Japanese surrender and Crook (1945), photocopies of Japanese money, photocopied military documents (1946), and another memoir written by Crook about his life. Dated 1945-2002.
