Contains prints from the January 27, 1970 edition of Pacific Stars and Stripes, which was an authorized unofficial publication for the U.S. Armed forces of the Pacific command. Pacific Stars and Stripes is published daily by APO San Francisco 96503. Also included in this folder are pages 3, 4, 77, and 78 of the March 18, 1970 edition of Army Times. Army Times Publishing Company was established as an independent firm in 1940. Army Times, the newspaper, was first published August 17, 1940. On August 1, 1997, Army Times Publishing Company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gannett Co., Inc.
