Scope and Contents
Materials contain a book compiled by Terry Christensen, daughter of Clinton Berg Jensen. Contains a journal of Clinton Berg Jensen regarding his service in the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II. Portions of the journal were told by Jensen and typed by Christensen in 2001. Also contains copies of letters and journal entries that Jensen wrote during the war. The texts describe his service in Australia and amphibious landings and combat in New Guinea. Describes his church involvement during the war. Also contains World War II memories of his brother, Dean Reuben Jensen, who served in the Air Force in Europe. Contains letters written by Dean Reuben Jensen and his sister, Wanda Jensen Nielsen, during the war. Also includes excerpts from the World War I journal of their uncle, Lorenzo Anton Berg. Includes copied photographs and a floppy disk with the journals of Jensen and his brother and uncle. Dated approximately 1944 and approximately 2002.
