Scope and Contents

Materials contain a memoir describing Willard Lyle Hagen's training as a fighter electrician and U.S. Army sign painter during World War II. He tells of spending most of the war on a B-24 base painting signs and logos on airplane exteriors. Photographs show Hagen in military dress and an airplane with a logo painted by Hagen. Dated approximately 1942-2001.
