Annotation on the back: "It's a far cry from Hollywood Boulevard to Red Lake, Arizona, especially in the matter of beauty shops. Billie Dove, featured Paramount player, found that out when she was several weeks down on the desert engaged in making "Wild Horse Mesa." Billie's bob lengthened to such an extent Archie Stout, cameraman, offered to cut it short. // Zane Grey and George Irving saw the operation performed. "Wild Horse Mesa," was adapted by Lucien Hubbard from Zane Grey's latest story [sic]. Jack Holt, Noah Berry, Miss Dove and Douglas Fairbanks Jr are the featured players. George B Seitz directed."
