Scope and Contents

Photocopies and transcript of journal by Leonard dsecribing his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Ohio and Pennsylvania. Journal describes his journey from Utah to Ohio and Pennsylvania. Describes his teaching in Akron, Williamsfield, Mario, and Seville, Ohio. Also includes descriptions of his interactions with Methodists, Masons, and Baptists, and his return travels to Utah. Some family history information is also recorded, including an obituary for Lorinda White (d. 1867). Journal entries date from between December 9, 1874 and April 2, 1875.
