Biographical History
The Miskins were a Mormon family in southeastern Idaho.
A. R. Miskin (1876-1960) had joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with his family in Kansas in 1889. They moved west, and settled in the area around Fairview, Idaho. They homesteaded, working to establish farm and operating a store. A. R. married Luvina Velate Belnap (1885-1969), and together they had fourteen children. The family moved to Ucon, Idaho, where they farmed and operated a machine shop producing scrapers.
