Material contains a memoir written by Don Everett Packham in 2001 about his military experiences in the U.S. Air Force during World War II from 1942-1945. Describes flying combat missions over France and Germany and tells the story of his last combat mission in 1945, when he was shot down over Germany. Contains photographs of Packham and his P38 plane during the war and a more recent photograph of him. Dated 1944-1945, 1999-2001.
