Material contains documents related to the military experiences of Henry Neil Jespersen regarding his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Jespersen describes his experiences flying with the Air Force and his time as a prisoner in the Stalag Luft III camp. He recounts the march from Stalag Luft III to Nuremberg when the prisoners were forced to re-locate, the heavy bombing of Nuremberg by the RAF, and the liberation of the Nuremberg camp by the American forces.
