Materials contain the military account of Melvin Park regarding his service as a mechanic in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. In his account, Park recalls working at an aircraft plant in San Diego, marrying his wife, and then joining the Army Air Corps. He talks about serving in England, Scotland, and Southern Germany. Recalls the end of the war on both fronts and talks about his family and work following the war. Talks about writing letters with his wife and meeting her at a dance. Dated February 27, 2003.
