Materials contain a transcribed interview with Kenneth Porter, conducted in 2002. Relates his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II from 1943-1945. In the interview, Porter discusses the attack on Pearl Harbor, training in gunnery school, flying missions in Italy, and traveling back to his parents and his girlfriend in Salt Lake City. Mentions that he met Benjamin O. Davis, commander of the Tuskegee airmen. Contains three cassette tapes of the interview. Dated February 17, 2002.
