Biographical History

Vivian N. Jensen (1911-2010) was a teacher and politician in Utah. She was the wife of Moroni L. Jensen.

Vivian Nelson was born April 16, 1911, in Redmond, Utah, to Franklin T. and Annetta Willardsen Nelson. She graduated from North Sevier High School in 1930. She received her teaching degree from Brigham Young University. She married Moroni L. Jensen on March 8, 1934. They had two children. She had a long career in education.

When Moroni died in 1980, she took his place serving in the Utah State Legislature. After this, she continued to campaign, and served for an additional term in 1982. She died February 21, 2010.
