Scope and Contents note
Materials contain a memoir which describes Walter A. Walser's military experience, both in training and combat during World War II. Photographs show Walser with his crew and his wrecked plane in Switzerland. Also contains various photocopied newspaper clippings about the service of Walser and his brothers, when Walser was interned in Switzerland, a bombing mission over Berlin, his wedding announcement, and the front page to The Daily Herald June 6, 1944, article titled "Allied Forces Invade France" written about D-Day. Dated 1941-1944.
