Letter from Sophie and Oscar Heilner to Sigmund and Clara Heilner. Sophie and Oscar write one month before World War I begins. Finally the word "automobile" has come into languages. David's son, Richard, has married out of the Jewish faith, has a son who is baptized, and there are repercussions in the family. Dated July 8, 1914. Includes a translation of the letter.
