Materials contain a short biography detailing the training and combat experiences of Gerald Joseph Merrill. Includes a longer account of a bombing run aimed at destroying the Mayen railroad bridge in Germany, and the close call Merrill had when his plane was almost shot down. Includes descriptions of dogfights between Allied and Axis fighters. Included are two paintings of B-26 bombers. Dated approximately 2002.
