Materials contain a detailed memoir of Wayne G. Jackson., Memoir relates some childhood experiences in Cedar City, Utah; his pre-war military service and initial flight training; descriptions of his adventurous flight to England, including maps; details of his 31 bombing missions including locations, duration of time, and the dangers he encountered. Includes maps of airfields in England, photographs over target, photographs of B-24's, and Jackson's crew. Also includes descriptions of the routines before, during, and after bombing missions, and discussion of the significance of the 8th Air Force's efforts during the war. Contains a photocopied military record and report of separartion document. Dated approximately 1947-1983.
