Materials contain papers relating to Paul W. Vance's service in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II from 1942-1945. Includes a memoir of Vance's World War II experiences and photocopied newspaper clipping that discuss a bombing mission in 1943 over Munster, Germany in which Vance was severely wounded and won the Distinguished Service Cross. Includes photocopied photographs of Vance and his crew. Dated 1944, 1990, approximately 2001.
