Biographical History
Adelaide Neilson McAllister was born March 1, 1902 to Peter Matts Neilson and Adelaide Cornelia Keaton Neilson. In 1927, she married Weston Vernon, they had two children. She and Weston later divorced. In 1951, she married Stanley McAllister. Adelaide was involved in the community while they lived in New York. She supported the Metropolitan Opera, the American Singing Mothers, and other church and community organizations.
