Biographical History
Joseph Facer (1871-1961) was a farmer in Brigham City, Utah.
Joseph was born in 1871 to George Facer (1834-1903) and Mary Prior (1840-1930). He served two missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, one to the Southern United States (Florida and North Carolina) from 1897 to 1899 and one in Arizona for the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Association (YMMIA) from 1901 to 1902. As a YMMIA missionary, Joseph Facer assisted in the organizational development of Church units and worked with local Navajo members of the Church. He married Emma Elizabeth Richards on November 7, 1902.
