Scope and Contents note
Materials contain a history of the World War II prisoner-of-war experience of Mays W. Anderson. The account describes front-line combat near Eschweiler, Germany. He describes the living conditions of the P.O.W.'s and the emotional trauma. Also includes various documents, such as a set of photographs entitled "Deutsche Officers Some of Whom I Fought on 'Siegfried Line'" and a 1985 article about Anderson's revisit to Poland. Dated 1944-1994.
