Material contains a memoir written by Earl Lelegren in 2005 about his military service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-1946. Discusses fighting in the battle of Rhineland, dealings with the Germans, and other combat. Describes his service in Japan and his experience with different religions after the war. Contains another brief account of his military service. Also contains a photocopy of orders given to American occupation troops in Germany. Dated approximately 2005.
