Material contains a memoir written by Wayne B. Gold in 1999 about his military service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Memoir describes his service in the Headquarters Company in California and his unit's movement through France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. Discusses transporting supplies, being bombed by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge, crossing the Roer River and Rhine River, and capturing cities in Germany. Also describes experiences being a Latter-Day Saint serviceman. Dated 1999.
