Material contains papers of Don J. Christensen regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-1946. Contains a bound memoir written by Christensen with information added by his son Wayne W. Christensen. The memoir describes Christensen's schooling in weapons repair, training in France, fighting on the front lines of Germany, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge, and joining the Army chorus and performing throughout Europe. Memoir contains copied photographs and certificates. Also includes separate papers. Dated 1943-1946, 1991-2002.
