Materials contain a memoir of Walter L. Schwaar's service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-1946. Memoir describes Schwaar's experiences landing at Utah Beach after D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, and brief occupation of Czechoslovakia. Includes photograph of Schwaar in uniform. Also included is a summary of his life following World War II. Dated 1943-1946, 2003.
